I can briefly summarise the key differences in the programme from that which you followed in early summer. Our population modelling partner WorldPop revised and updated their raster population data for Nigeria. The key benefit of this is that it now aligns with our settlement extent boundaries, which means the two can be overlaid against each other and analysed. The practical exercise now includes instructions on these type of analyses.
The other main difference is that the Atlas maps module has been changed and now adopts a microplanning case study example in Nigeria, i.e. the maps that are outputted are a good representation of our real GRID3 maps, used for that purpose.
