The hints for completing both challenge 2 and challenge 3 are in the challenge boxes themselves.
For challenge 2, you need to duplicate the ward boundaries layer and then change the symbology of the overview map look like the example. Use the 'rule-based' symbology, option and define the rule as shown in the challenge box.
A step-by-step guide on how to create a useful overview map can be found in the GRID3 course 'Basic Map Production in QGIS'. This course is part of our QGIS Foundations programme, but you can enrol on the single course and access the QGIS practical instructions using the link below.

For challenge 3 you need to use the 'rule based labeling' option as show in the challenge box. This can be set by opening the layer properties box for the health facility layer and selecting 'Labels'.
